Saundra “Sandy” Stone has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2010. A graduate of Broken Arrow High School, Sandy considers BA her home. Following her undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Central Oklahoma, Sandy received her Masters in Education (School Counseling) from Northeastern State University. She has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, CBT for chronic pain, EMDR, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
As a follower of Jesus, Sandy loves working with women who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, family issues, and chronic pain. Therapy focuses on helping women find ways to refocus their thoughts and actions for more positive relationships and a renewed sense of self-worth. She also provides therapy for couples to strengthen their relationship by improving communication and conflict resolution skills. She uses the Prepare/Enrich program to provide a framework for working through the many issues pre-marital and marital couples face. "I may challenge your thoughts and behaviors, but I will encourage and care for you."

THERAPY METHODS: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Prepare and Enrich, and client-centered approaches.
