Kim has over 13 years of experience as a licensed marriage and family therapist providing compassionate mental health counseling. She counsels adolescents and adults who are struggling with depression and anxiety, grief, problems adjusting to changes in life, relationship problems, marital conflict, and family issues. She also provides mental health counseling for couples.
Kim’s approach to providing mental health therapy is to incorporate different methods to meet the needs of her clients. She utilizes techniques from solution-focused therapy, brief therapy approaches, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has training in Prepare and Enrich for couples and marital therapy, as well as trauma-focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.
