Kim has over 14 years of experience as a licensed marriage and family therapist providing compassionate mental health counseling. She counsels adolescents and adults who are struggling with depression and anxiety, grief, problems adjusting to changes in life, chronic pain and illness, relationship problems, marital conflict, and family issues. She also provides mental health counseling for couples.
Kim’s approach to providing mental health therapy is to incorporate different methods to meet the needs of her clients. She utilizes techniques from solution-focused therapy, brief therapy approaches, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has training in Prepare and Enrich for couples and marital therapy, trauma-focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain.
