Patti Trammell, LCSW
Depression | Anxiety | Trauma | Chronic Pain/Illness | Insomnia | Adults | Teens
Patti holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma and brings over 10 years of experience as a therapist. Her passion is helping both adults and teens navigate the complexities of life’s challenges, enhance their mental and emotional health, and build meaningful, healthy relationships.
Life often presents emotional and mental challenges, whether you're navigating the transition from adolescence into adulthood, facing relationship struggles, or dealing with stress and anxiety in day-to-day life. Both teens and adults frequently struggle with feelings of anxiety, self-doubt, and the pressure to meet the expectations of others, leading to frustration and even depression. Thoughts like “I’m not good enough,” “There’s something wrong with me,” or “No one understands” can leave you feeling isolated and overwhelmed. Whether you’re a teen trying to understand who you are or an adult juggling life's responsibilities, these feelings can create emotional barriers that are difficult to overcome alone.
I understand that both adults and teens often feel lost when dealing with these struggles. The good news is that no matter your age, therapy provides an opportunity to understand these emotions, find healthier ways to cope, and ultimately transform your outlook on life.
For parents, watching a loved one struggle—whether a teen or adult—is painful. You may want to help but feel unsure of what to do. My role is to provide tools and guidance to not only help individuals recognize their strengths and uniqueness but also to teach family members how to offer compassionate and effective support.
Therapy is not about solving every problem immediately or erasing difficult feelings. It’s about learning how to cope, how to move forward, and how to become the person you aspire to be, even in the face of challenges. You are in control of your journey, and my job is to support you every step of the way, helping you navigate the path to a more fulfilled and balanced life.
Whether you’re a teen grappling with identity, a young adult facing transitions, or an adult working through stress or relationship issues, I’m here to guide you toward understanding, healing, and growth.
