Counseling for Adult Women and Couples: Life Transitions, Depression, and Chronic Pain

Have you lost hope? Are you feeling isolated and alone? Are your family relationships frustrating and exhausting? Does your heart hurt from relationships gone bad? Are you worried and anxious? Are you tired of defending yourself? I believe you can turn these feelings into hope, confidence and peace. I work with women of all ages and with couples.
I am a licensed professional counselor. I love working with women and couples to help them find ways to refocus their thoughts and actions for more positive relationships and a renewed sense of self-worth. I may challenge your thoughts and behaviors, but I will encourage and care for you.
My focus is on helping women who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, family issues, and chronic pain.   I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, CBT for chronic pain, EMDR, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
I also work with couples, helping to strengthen their relationship by improving communication skills, conflict resolution skills, and more. I use the Prepare/Enrich program to provide a framework for working through the many issues pre-marital and marital couples face.

About Sandy Stone, Licensed Professional Counselor

Saundra “Sandy” Stone has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2010.  A graduate of Broken Arrow High School, Sandy considers BA her home.  Following her undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Central Oklahoma, Sandy received her Masters in Education (School Counseling) from Northeastern State University.  She has recently retired from Broken Arrow Public Schools as a middle school counselor and has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain.
